Research suggests that regular and vigorous exercise may delay the onset and progression of Parkinson’s disease, and maintaining or increasing physical activity and exercise can strengthen muscles, improve balance and reduce stiffness.

We will work with you on a tailored program which can include resistance, balance, cardio-vascular and hand training, as well as training in everyday activities. Our therapist in addition normally set you up with Parkinson's Warrior exercises.

Many people with Parkinson’s disease experience falls, we can teach you movement strategies that make it easier for you to move around your home in a safe manor, alongside tailoring programs' for you to carry out at home in a pool or at the gym to help you retain as much mobility and independence as possible.

Assessing your balance and mobility, allows us to establish the causes of problems and then we set up an appropriate exercise program that improves balance and mobility.
